Cruise

CRUISE ! How i already miss it. I want back on cruise. The whole week consisted of eating, relaxing, sleeping and other things. Being my first cruise, i was noob so i didn't have high expectations or anything, all i knew that it was going to be good.Turns out the first day was sorta shit. I had to wake up so early on a rainy freezing cold day,  carry my heavy suitcases and drive an hour down to Gaveston then go through customs. I hate going through customs you line up like second class citizen and it's takes forever no doubt. Then when you're about to get on the boat the lady ask "Do you have your visa?". "OH shit!" i thought yeah i have my visa but why would i bring it with me? It's not like I'm from Afghanistan traveling to the US, I'm from Australia, geez. Then the whole family goes on a massive panic attack, because half the extended family is from Australia, turns out it she was just asking because she was lazy to scan our etags on our passports.

Then an hour later we finally get to board the ship, yay. The interior is real nice, Those a window rooms overlooking the inside of the ship. Idk how to describe them.

I can not stress about how much i ate on the cruise, when you have 24hour access to food cause there's a buffet on deck 11, cafe on deck 5, 3 course dinner every night and food pretty everywhere you can't help but pig out every hour of the day. That's exactly what i came close to doing, my eating schedule was pretty much waking up and going to the 11 floor for the buffet, do stuff, back to the buffet for lunch and then dinner and pizza at the cafe for supper before going to bed. Just look at the FOOD! How can you possible resist it.

Escargo - butter garlic, This was rather nice :)

So the first three days were spent at sea so time was pretty much spent on the cruise ship for three days straight, you would think it would get boring, but it doesn't. I'll admit the first day kinda sucked, this is my first cruise so i'm alittle noob. Most of the "fun" stuff i couldn't really do cause that involved alcohol, nightclubbing, etc. It sucks being under aged sometimes. It was just really boring.
But minus that day, the other days were great. The cruise ship has a ice rink, rollerblading, putt putt golf course, swimming pool/spas, nightclub (which i couldn't go in but i did anyways), rock climbing and more less important ones.

Our first destination was Rotan - Honduras. Which is a tiny itty bitty island somewhere in the gulf of Mexico, where it is -is not that important because honestly who the hell cares. Honduras was such a nice change from the freezing cold weather back in Houston. It was sunny, warm and the beaches were absolutely beautiful with the cliche crystal clear blue waters and no waves. Too bad no one brought their swimmers.

The day was spent under the shades of coconut trees sipping coconut juice and cocktails. Oh yeah, and visiting monkeys, exotic birds and walking around like tourist normally do. Not to mention its not the developed so the houses were tiny broken down shacks and sometimes when you stop to get a view of the place your interrupted with children trying to rip you off selling souvenirs .

This is the biggest and nicest house on the whole island, belongs to a wealthy guy who owns the fishing industry on the island, says our tour guide and i believe him.

NEXT DESTINATION! BELIZE
Belize is similar to Honduras only slightly nicer and the island is bigger and they have crocodiles. You should see the pic with me and a crocodile (live one of course), it's only a baby one if i find it.
During our day in Belize we took a tour around the city downtown and uptown and then went on an airboat. It was cloudy with a chance of rain, so it was cold, and all i was wearing was shorts, t-shirt and a thin sweater. We had to wear these ponchos, not the best looking things in the world but they sure kept me warm.

Last and final destination - Cozumel, Mexico
Last place we visited before heading off back to the freezing cold Houston. Cozumel was beautiful and maybe the best place out of the three. The beach was beautiful also, this time we didn't forget out swimmers and went snorkeling. The water was freezing at first and i was a bit hesitant about jumping in but i did anyways and it wasn't bad at all, it was actually warm? It got cloudy that day and i was freaking out hoping it wouldn't rain on us, and it did but only small and when we were heading back.
Cruise ship,etc

Jump photo! My facial expression is stupid.

Another jump photo!
There about a million other jump photos, took one everywhere we went. This one was at night on the cruise while it was moving, you can't tell from the picture cause we were jumping but it was incredibly windy.

That was it, the last day (before we arrive in Gaveston again) we just did all the activities they had on board ice skating, rock climbing, rollerblading & pig out at the buffet.
Call us crazy we even went swimming in the middle of the night & Hot tub. It was nice to just float ontop of the water and look at the stars and moon.
Overall we did alot for seven days, it was so packed with late night and semi-early morning, food, alcohol and holiday things that you would call it fun. I already miss the cruise especially the 24hour food service. It was like the biggest buffet i have ever eaten at.

One last food spam before we finish off
This will make you drool.

Enjoy, It took me hours of frustration, procastination and all the unbearable emotions which i hate, to deliver you this blog.

I went back to school shopping yesterday, i don't really know what to get.. so i threw in anything that i thought would be useful. It's the only time I'm allowed to go crazy with school supplies without being told off that i already have a pair of these or i have several of the same thing.
